The infamous BUG

This is a resin and white metal model from ???. It is about 1/48 scale. They shipped an extra 'mandible' with the kit, so I 'shot it up'. The model was initially base painted a flat black, then I applied Future floor wax to seal it. Then the red and yellow 'stripes' were hand painted. The base was made with some plain dirt from the backyard! I used chalk pastels to weather the base. Unfortunately, the white metal could not support the weight, and the arms have been drooping.
